Grand Ledge Area District Library Chooses TLC
The Library Corporation is pleased to announce that Grand Ledge Area District Library has chosen the Library•Solution® integrated library system to provide premier automation services for its staff and patrons.
Grand Ledge Area District Library- located in Grand Ledge, Michigan – recently went live with Library•Solution’s integrated cataloging and database management software and services. TLC will host the system on a secured server that offers 24/7 access to library employees and customers.
Grand Ledge Area District Library has a very rich history – though many attempts to start a public library were made, it wasn’t until the Ladies Library Association was incorporated as a permanent organization in 1911 that the Grand Ledge Area District Library was founded. Grand Ledge Area District Library transitioned to Library•Solution from a Sirsi Dynix® ILS that has been in use since 2008. TLC’s software will enable patrons to place holds, pay fines, download eBooks, audio books, and more from home or at either of the library’s locations: 131 E. Jefferson St. and 13080 Wacousta Rd., Suite D in Grand Ledge.
