TLC Commits to Eastwick College’s Success with Library•Solution
Eastwick College has successfully completed its first academic school year using Library•Solution from The Library Corporation (TLC) as its new integrated library system (ILS). TLC’s user-friendly interface, staff solutions, and outstanding customer support, coupled with an enthusiastic peer recommendation, swayed the library to choose TLC over other vendors after CyberTools ceased operation last year. TLC completed migration services for the library in Ramsey, New Jersey, earlier in the year.
Eastwick College has over 2,250 active students. It offers five library locations across its campuses and carries more than 14,000 physical materials.
With their previous provider closing down, Eastwick began looking for a new ILS to implement for the school year. They sought a system that would serve students and faculty efficiently while also providing effective tools for library staff. Attractive ways to spotlight their collection and outstanding customer support also made their wish list.
The university put out a call on a listserv asking for recommendations. Among the community suggestions, TLC stood out to the director of library services at Eastwick College & the HoHoKus School, Sisalee M. Hecht, MSLIS, AHIP.
