The Boxcar Children series is about to become an animated movie.  At least four feature films are planned over the next two years, and since 2019 marks the series’ 75th anniversary, it’s a sure bet the first movie will be in theaters then.  You have time now to become acquainted with the series containing over 150 books.  Enjoy the adventures of Henry, Jessie, Violet, and Benny.

DON’T FORGET!  “A Series of Unfortunate Events” with Neil Patrick Harris as Count Olaf premieres Friday, January 13, 2017, on Netflix. The first season of the show will cover four of the 13 novels in Daniel Handler’s book series — two episodes for each book.

’Tis the season for baking cookies and making memories.  I love when the smell of gingerbread fills my doghouse. Nothing is better than a cup of hot cocoa and warm gingerbread cookies right out of the oven while watching snowflakes fall outside my window.  Here’s hoping you have a great holiday season and a very HAPPY NEW YEAR!
