DID YOU KNOW?
Tintin celebrated his 87th birthday on January 10. He certainly doesn’t seem to ever get older, so it must be his faithful white Wire Fox Terrier, Snowy, that keeps him going.
Did you know there are now four digital Tintin publications in English: Tintin in the Congo, Tintin in America, Cigars of the Pharaoh, and The Blue Lotus. There was hope for another movie, Tintin 2, to be released in December 2016, but Peter Jackson, filmmaker of The Hobbit, has some other projects he wants to complete first. Guess we’ll just have to wait to see Snowy on the big screen again. In the meantime, if you are in the mood for adventure and want a real page-turner, check your library’s shelves for the Tintin series.
