FEATURED SERIES CORNER
Grumpy Monkey

This series is becoming one of my favorites with lots of new books coming out.  The latest, Grumpy Monkey Freshly Squeezed, out in June but there are quite a few coming in September. Watch for Grumpy Monkey Get Your Grumps Out along with Grumpy Monkey Ready, Set, Bananas! and Grumpy Monkey Oh, No! Christmas.

DID YOU KNOW?

  • The Seuss Discovers series is out now.  Dr. Seuss Discovers: Bugs and Dr. Seuss Discovers: Space release May 18, but watch for Dr. Seuss Discovers: Sharks in September.  I am sure there are more ‘things’ to discover. And speaking of things, check out the Dr. Seuss’s Things series: Dr. Seuss’s Spring Things, Dr. Seuss’s Summer Things, Dr. Seuss’s School Things, Dr. Seuss’s Spooky Things, Dr. Seuss’s Thankful Things, Dr. Seuss’s Winter Things, and Dr. Seuss’s Lovely Things. That’s a LOT of things!
  • Watch for Narwal’s School of Awesomeness coming out September 7.  If you like Frog and Toad, you have to check out Bubbles and Blankie featuring Narwhal and Jelly; silly stories about two best friends.

NEWS FLASH

The Bad Guys movie is now scheduled for release April 15, 2022 after the date was changed a couple times due to COVID.  Mr. Wolf, Mr. Shark, and others try to pull the ultimate heist.  And watch for Book #14 (title unknown at this time) to be released in November.

MY FAVORITE THINGS

I love going on vacation, even if it is a ‘staycation’ in my backyard.  As school starts to let out, some of you will be going away to visit family or friends, or maybe to camp somewhere.  Whatever you do, or wherever you go, stay safe and have fun.  Making memories is what it is all about.  Have a GREAT summer!
