Jigsaw Jones
I found this series at my local library and couldn’t believe I had never read any of these books.  The first book, The Case of Hermie the Missing Hamster, only makes you want to read more.  There are 33 mysteries with a new one, The Case from Outer Space released in August.  The main character, Jigsaw, is in second grade and gets help from his friend, Mila to do their detective work.  Check them out at your library.  You won’t be disappointed!

MY FAVORITE THINGS

With Halloween coming I like to read scary books to get ready for the trick or treaters that show up at my doghouse for candy.  No one does scary better than the author of Goosebumps, R.L.Stine. Goosebumps turns 25 years old this year with Slappy the Dummy as the all time favorite character.  A second Goosebumps movie is in the works!

In a recent interview, R.L.Stine said he never started writing anything until he found the perfect title.   He went on to say he has never received a suggestion for a title from any kids.  Here’s your chance to get into writing! You can write to the author on his website.
